We have exciting news to share! It has been an amazing six months thanks to the dedication and love of our clients, friends, and Practitioners. Life is a journey and it has been an honor to share our journey with them. In order to better serve our clients and the community, we are moving down the street about 1/2 mile. Our new home will be at 8 Hebron Rd in Marlborough! It’s a beautiful new home with an abundance of natural light, space and great energy!
Street names can be a strange thing. We are currently on RT 66 but it is named East Hampton Rd. Our new home is still on RT 66 but that section is named Hebron Rd. When you are at the original traffic light in the center of town, the street changes names. The end of RT 66 closest to East Hampton is East Hampton Rd, and you guessed it, the end closest to Hebron is named Hebron Rd.
When you come into Marlborough off of RT 2, our new home is on the left. If you get to the Subway, you have just missed us. We are in the same building as Country Roads Spirits and Wine. If you go in the lobby outside their store, our entrance is on the left. Our doorway is at the top of the stairs. We are still seeing clients during the transition. Please call 860-467-6518. for appointments or visit our website theocenter.net. Stay tuned for details about our Open House event.
We are still committed to helping our neighbors and the families who depend upon the assistance of Marine’s Toys For Tots. Our Toy Drive and Holiday Celebration for December 9th is still ongoing. It is just being hosted now at our new home. The Box for Donations for the Food Bank of Marlborough is moving with us! We thank you for your support of these two groups. We look forward to your next visit
Our facilities are available for your meeting, seminar and group gatherings. We are convenienly located off of RT 2 just a short distance from Hartford. Sure, we all want to look good and stay youthful looking. However, proper skincare is important for many other reasons. Our Skin Care Therapist , Jo Ann Benoit offers services to help your skin be it’s healthiest. Why is healthy skin so important? The American Skin Association writes that:
“The skin prevents germs from entering the body and damaging internal organs. Skin supports the life of all other body parts and plays a role in maintaining the immune system. Skin also helps to regulate body temperature through the sweat glands. When the body becomes overheated, sweat glands give off moisture (perspiration), which cools the body as it evaporates. As the body part responsible for the sense of touch, the skin works with the nervous system to alert the body to potential dangers by detecting pressure, pain, heat and cold. When exposed to the sun’s ultraviolet rays, the skin manufactures Vitamin D, an essential vitamin for healthy skin. Vitamin D promotes the body’s absorption of calcium, which is essential for the normal development of healthy teeth and bones.”
